Do I need to enter everything manually?
No. Start with your boat and key equipment, then Vessel Ready does the heavy lifting. If your engine, generator, or watermaker is in the catalog, the right service tasks, part numbers, and inventory items can be created automatically. You can also use AI to describe equipment in plain English or scan labels from a photo, then review and confirm everything before it is saved.
Can I start simple and add more later?
Yes. Add your boat and engine first, then build the rest at your own pace. Certificates, inventory, safety equipment, and tank details can all be added later. A setup checklist shows what is done and what still needs attention.
What if I already track things in notebooks or spreadsheets?
That works until it does not. Vessel Ready replaces scattered notes with one system that tracks due dates, engine hours, certificates, service history, and parts inventory in one place. AI can also help turn rough notes and service logs into structured records faster.
Can I source parts through the app?
Yes. Every item on your low-stock list includes the OEM part number, known cross-references (Sierra, WIX, Jabsco, CEF, and others), and direct links to suppliers including Amazon, West Marine, Fisheries Supply, and Defender. You can filter by region — US, Canada, UK, or Caribbean — so you're always looking at suppliers that can actually reach you.
Does it work for older boats?
Yes. Older boats usually need more structure, not less. If your equipment is in the catalog, Vessel Ready can build the related tasks and parts list automatically. How do cancellations and refunds work?

Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled anytime and remain active until the end of the billing period.

Annual subscriptions are billed upfront and may be cancelled anytime to prevent renewal. After the free-trial period ends, annual payments are non-refundable.

Vessel Ready reserves the right to review exceptional refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

What happens to my records when I sell the boat?
You generate a transfer link from your settings. The new owner creates their own Vessel Ready account and takes over the complete history — every service record, equipment entry, certificate, and inventory item. Nothing is lost. A fully documented vessel history is a genuine selling point and can support a higher asking price.
What types of boats is this for?
Vessel Ready is built for cruising sailboats, catamarans, and private motor yachts up to about 60 feet. It is designed for owner-operators and hands-on captains, not superyachts, charter fleets, or casual dayboats.
What do the AI features do?
AI helps you set up and maintain your boat faster.
